I recently took the GMAT and scored 700. I am applying to a Masters program and while 700 may be enough to get admission, I am not completely sure if I will due to my low acads. I think I can get a better score if I retake the exam but if I don't, I am a bit screwed because the school will consider the latest score. So what I want to ask is, can I retake the exam and not report the score to the school, and then if I get a better score I report it additionally through mba.com. If I don't, then I have the buffer of my old score anyways. Is this possible?
