I have a query on conversion of my CGPA to GPA (US standards).
I have done my Petroleum Engineering from India & I passed with a CGPA of 2.72/4 (74.4%) "percentage calculated (CGPA+1*20)".
Can any one please tell me that what will be my my GPA in US standards?
Any input from your end would be appreciated.

First, only convert your GPA if the school asks this. Most of the time the school asks you to report your score in the scoring system relevant to your degree.
If you are asked to convert your GPA, the schools often times supply a chart for doing so.
If a chart is not supplied you can offer your own chart based on WES (World Education Services) found here: https://www.wes.org/gradeconversionguide/index.asp.
