quant course to compensate low gmat score?

by marimares » Sat Dec 31, 2011 12:58 pm
hi all - i took the gmats and scored a 59 percentile for quant although my overall score is a 650. i have a liberal arts degree from uva (3.4 gpa) and was told i should submit a supplemental essay and plan to take one or two quant courses (stats, calc or accounting)...where can i do that? any ideas about online courses or weekend classes at schools in atlanta?

Check your local universities for part-time evening programs or the like. Try to avoid community colleges or random online courses. You want to take courses from an institution that will be more easily recognized by adcoms.
