Quant 42 first CAT...

by DCS80 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 5:04 pm
been studying a few months, and i took my first CAT (i know, unorthodox). However, i only had time for the quant section.

My score (manhatten free CAT) reads Q42, 57% percentile.

I was under the impression a Q42 was impressive- am i missing something here?

regards,
derek

Here are the percentile rankings for the various sections on the GMAT: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/gmat-scores ... means.aspx
A lot of students would kill for a Q42.
What really matters, however, is your total score.
If your verbal skills are strong then you could be looking at a great total score.
