SOlution for ur query:

there is a pronoun reference issue: Original sentence uses "him" to refer a plural subject( look out for "and")

So Option B coorects it using " them"( Them refers to the plural subject)

Moreover the total action takes place in simple past.SO " simple pastense "were"(plural form) is used. Not necessary to us epast perfect over here.

I got 80...Missied that sachin wala SC..yaar I missed it becox of itended meaning becox it happened last month &SC stated 2007..so my stupid brain was lingering on that thing & forgot the one at hand..hahaha!!
