32. A person does a job and will gain $336. Actually, he takes 4 more hours than schedule time, therefore, his hour wage is $2 less than actually decided. What ¡s the schedule work time?

Let x = original hours worked

336/x = (336/(x+4)) + 2
336/x = (344 + 2x)/(x+4)

336x + 1344 = 344x + 2x^2
0 = 2x^2 + 8x - 1344
0 = 2(x^2 + 8x - 672)
0 = (x + 28)(x - 24)
x= -28 x=24

so x = 24
