SEC regulations require that a public company disclose to their potential investors any legal, technological, or financial complications that could endanger their investments.

A. a public company disclose to their
B. a public company discloses to its
C. a public company disclose to its
D. public companies disclose to its
E. public companies have disclosed to their


OA is C . Can someone explain to me why the answer is NOT B.Thanks in advance.

I believe the sentence requires an infinitive form. (Require X to Y) 'Discloses' doesn't satisfy this case.

Thats my best take. I will wait and watch for a better explanation.

the sentence has the command/order subjunctive form
require+that+subject+verb where the verb should be of the infinitive form (without the "to"). "disclose" in this case.

A. subject verb agreement error
B. "discloses" is not the infinitive form. we need "disclose"
C. correct. maintains the correct form "disclose"
D. subject verb agreement error
E. "have disclosed" is not the infinitive form. we need "disclose"
