On completing both the course in experimental design and the developmental psychology course, Angela will have earned a degree in psychology. Since experimental design, which must be completed before taking developmental psychology, will not be offered until next term, it will be at least two terms before Angela gets her psychology degree.

If the statements above are all true, which one of the following must also be true?
(A) The developmental psychology course Angela needs to take requires two terms to complete.
(B) The course in experimental design is an easier course than the course in developmental psychology.
(C) There are no prerequisites for the course in experimental design.
(D) Anyone who earns a degree in psychology from the university Angela attends will have completed the course in experimental design.
(E) Once Angela completes the developmental psychology course, she will have earned a degree in psychology.

Both D/E seems right and no info supports A/B/C.

What's the source and OA ?

The OA is D.
But I think E is more suitable.
D suggests that anyone with a psychology degree will have completed a experimental design course. But this does not seem to be implied in the argument. A psychology degree could involve other courses as well other than experimental design.

Stoneblack's reasoning is correct - we only know about the courses Angela needs to receive
a degree in psychology. We cannot infer from the passage that anyone who wants to receive
a psychology degree must also take these two courses (there could be other courses that
a person could complete to fulfill the requirements for a psychology degree).

(E) is directly supported by the passage: Angela can only take developmental psychology if
she completes experimental design. Once she completes both she will earn her degree.
Therefore, if Angela completes the developmental psychology course she will have earned
her degree.

I'm not sure if such an error would totally invalidate the original source. For instance, swapping
(D) for (E) could be a simple typo. However, if the answer is (D) and the original source attempts
to back it up with some reasoning (definitely a sophistic enterprise!), then you will definitely
want to find more suitable content from which to practice.

Yes I agree with chris@magoosh as the stimulus specifically talks about Angela and her earning the degree of psychology... Even I went for the option E as it can be properly inferred from the passage...

E is out because nowhere it has been mentioned whether Angela wants to get the degree. what if she studies for some other degree.

just for the record, the source is Beat The GMAT's 300 CR questions with best answers document downloaded from this very site!
I guess someone needs to correct it or have a really good reason for choice D.
