Total sale = $800
Sale below $500 = $500 --> Commission = 20% 0f $500 = $100
Sale above $500 = $300 --> Commission = 30% 0f $300 = $90

Total commission = $(100 + 90) = $190

Required percentage = 100*(190/800) = 23.75 ≈ 24

The correct answer is B.
