Hi,

The answer to this is C) but when I think about it again, it dose not mention that X,Y can not be negative, so for example, x=2 y=-2, C) could be equal as well? :?

0/1 = 0, but you cant get that with the problem.

1/0 you can get, but you cant divide by zero

Dude..... Check Choice C which is 0

Now a fraction can only be 0 when the numerator is zero, which clearly isn't the case here.

Hence C it is!

for 1/(x+y) to be zero x+y should be infinity. so the best answer is C.

any number divided by 0 is not defined ... x/0 x being any number is not defined .... that is x/0 is mathematicaly considered absurd...
