PS vs. DS

by pscher31 » Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:33 am
I have been studying for a few months now and I know solving DS questions is completely different from solving PS questions and I'm trying to find the most efficient use of my remaining time as I'll be taking the GMAT in a few months. Using an error log I've been able to narrow down my weaknesses. It looks like my weaknesses, for example consecutive sets, span across the board for both PS and DS. If I study the topic for one question type will that benefit both or should I really be focusing both question types?

Appreciate any guidance.

For any particular topic, I suggest that you examine both PS and DS questions, since they typically test similar concepts.

By the way, if you want to focus on one topic at a time, you can use BTG's tagging feature to isolate one concept.
For example, here are all of the questions tagged as statistics questions: https://www.beatthegmat.com/forums/tags/ ... statistics
See the left side of that linked page for more tag options.

Cheers,
