Hi there,

What is the concept of this PS ?

The total of Company C’s assets in 1994 was 300 percent greater than the total in 1993, which in turn was 400 percent greater than the total in 1992. If the total of Company C’s assets in 1992 was N dollars, which of the following represents the total of Company C’s assets, in dollars, in 1994 ?

(A) 7N (B) 8N (C) 9N (D) 12N (E) 20N

I answered D but the right answer is E

its says GREATER....

I did the calc like you first and got D...but now I see the correct answer is E...

i selected 100 for N for the year 92...

so a 400% increase would be 100 X 4 = 400..so 100 + 400 = 500

now for the 300% increase

500 X 3 = 1500...

so 1500 + 500 = 2000

no plug 10 as N into the answers and see which on gives you 2000

E does...
