PS: Circle intersects triangle

Which of the following lists the number of points at which a circle can intersect a triangle?

1. 2 and 6 only
2. 2, 4 and 6 only
3. 1, 2, 3, and 6 only
4. 1,2,3,4 and 6 only
5. 1,2,3,4,5, and 6

Laura, thanks for the figures. However, doesn't Intersect mean to cut across? I got the 2,4 and 6 part but can't figure out how a triangle can intersect a circle at 1, 3 or 5 points. It seems that in your diagrams the triangle is just touching the circle and not intersecting it. Please explain.

Intersect doesn't have to mean 'cut through.' :)
