I can't wrap my head around cases where the pronoun is the object of the sentence.
- Is the following example correct?
- I learned that sentences should be correct if you "take out" the other noun in the case of a compound subject, e.g. "John and I went to work." -> "I went to work" makes sense, whereas "Me when to work" does not make sense. So in the following example, "The party was where Bob and ME drank." -> "The party was where me drank" is wrong? Shouldn't it be "The party was where I drank"?

WRONG: The party was where Bob and I drank.
CORRECT: The party was where Bob and ME drank.
Party is the subject of the sentence. The pronoun is the object of the sentence so we use the object pronoun me.
