The probability questions on GMAT test only basic understanding of probability. So I would suggest to borrow school text books from someone and study probability from that rather than veritas.

I'm not sure if gabriel is still kicking around here (it's been almost two years since his post above!) but I think what he meant was because GMAT probability/combinatorics is not advanced (ie, is basic) it is a good idea to study from "school" (ie, basic ) math textbooks. (and not that because GMAT is basic you should seek out advanced textbooks).

As for whether I would agree with that: I would, in part. I think it is a good idea to study from school math textbooks if a) you never studied those topics in the first place or b) you feel or know that you require a better understanding of certain content. However, I think it is also very important to practice using official GMAT questions, and if you want, other *trusted* (ie, major test prep company) questions.
