Hi all,

Please find the details of my profile below:

GMAT: 700 V-35 Q-49 AWA-4.5 IR-5

GPA: 9.38, BITS Pilani

Work Exp: Software developer for 1.5 years at Amazon, 0.5 years at a financial analytics company

Leadership and team experience: Lead the team towards successful completion of two critical projects

Career goal: Pursue a career in financial consulting

Interested specialization: Finance

Financial aid is a primary concern for me. Can you please suggest some business schools with a good ROI/financial aid according to my profile.

I'm planning to apply to ISB, Insead at present.

Thanks in advance,
Kiran

Hi there,

Pretty sure I answered this already in another forum ;) but can't locate that response right now.... anyway your academics sounds strong and GMAT is respectable, and it's good that you've had some team-lead experience, but overall your experience is a bit lighter than many successful applicants; wonder if you've considered working one more year and further developing your leadership skills and professional accomplishments? I mean you are at the border of an ok minimum work experience level, but there's the chance schools may believe you would contribute more to the class with more experience. Right now it may be a bit of a reach at INSEAD and ISB with your current GMAT and experience and the level of competition. If determined to apply this year I'd suggest looking at slightly less competitive schools as well for better chances. Good luck!
