Hi Stacey,

Can you please evaluate my profile for a Top-20 B-School MBA

Native: Indian
GMAT: Male
GMAT: 720 (Quants: 49(85%); Verbal: 39(87%))

Undergrad
B.tech. Manufacturing Science and Engineering
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2010 batch)
CGPA: 8.4/10. Was Ranked 1 in the Branch for 4 consecutive semesters.

Internship: Georgia Institute Of Technology, US (2 months)
Worked on underwater vehicle design project with a team of 6 people; had the opportunity of coordinating the project( which included people from different departments); Continued the project for my Btech thesis.

Work Experience
Caterpillar Inc.: Leadership and Technical Development Programme (1.5 years)
During this programme I had the opportunity of rotation in different departments:
Design, Analysis and Factory where I lead projects on my own (coordinated with cross-funtional teams to reach the solutions)
Certified Six-Sigma Green Belt.

Extra-Curriculars: Co-founder of Formula-FSAE team, IIT Kharagpur; Built the whole team from scratch; lead a group of 15 students, was responsible for settingup the workshop, supplier collabration, worked on the design and the other technical aspects too.
Was a member of National Sports Organisation for 3 years and member of Hostel's Volleyball team.
Was a member of National Cadet Corps(NCC) for a year.

Since I have only 1.5 years experience till now, I wish to apply for the batch of 2013. I'll be having around 2.5 years experience at the time of applications(or should I wait for 1 more year and then apply for 2014?). What do I lack in my profile so that i can work on it in a year or so?
I wish to pursue my career in Operations ( I guess my profile does enough to support that).

I appreciate your help.

Thanks.
