Hey Stacy,
I'm 23 years old (woman) and I will be graduating next September (Bachelor in Economics). My college GPA was of 3.3 and I am now studying to take the GMAT (my target score is 700+).
In terms of extracurriculars, the only consistent one I have is that I was part of the economics student magazine for a semester. I also played soccer and tennis here and there.
As of now I have no "real" work experience. However, I was a teacher's assistant (Accouting & Financial Analysis) for a year. Is that considered work experience? Do schools consider this kind of work experience when evaluating applications?
I'm bilingual (spanish and english) and speak/write/read basic German (I have a dual citizenship). Oh, I don't know if this counts by I'm an IB (International Baccalaureate) student.
If I work one or two more years what are the odds of getting in? Anyway I would really appreciate feedback on my profile.
My target schools are: HBS, Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Dartmouth etc. Any advice on how to make my profile somewhat more attractive for these schools?
Thanks!
