I think you have a competitive profile for your target schools based on the limited information you posted. It is important to have a mix of schools, so you might identify some safety schools that offer the curriculum you seek for your career goals. I don't think there will be a difference in competitiveness between this year and next, so if you feel you are ready to start in fall 2010, then you should apply now. Being Asian does not diminish the fact you are a woman; it is simply part of your profile. What will be important for you to gain admission will be conveying your rationale for business school and making a compelling case for a seat over applicants with a similar profile.
