You have solid profile with quality experience and international exposure which most of the B-schools value. Since you have average academics you need to focus and prepare well for GMAT. Take the test once you are confident of scoring. If you feel there is long gap from studies then it is better to join some professional coaching for GMAT, this will help you to ace GMAT within short span. Wish you all the best for GMAT, please get in touch if you have any queries.
