Could you evaluate my profile?
Female, 32 years, Indian
Undergrad: Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and Business Data Processing from a leading under graduate school in India, First Division
Post Grad: Masters in Marketing Communications from a top rated Communications school in India, GPA 2.8 (it is quite good by Indian standards)
GMAT: 640, 44 Quant, 33 Verbal
I have been working in market research for the past 8 years. I have worked with prominent MR firms and managed many international projects for both private and public sector clients. I am currently working in Washington DC for a global market research firm and I am independently managing a key client account. I have a good professional experience and I can easily showcase my leadership skills.
I know my GMAT score is very low (it is much below my expectations) but I do not want to retake it. This was my second attempt. I scored 620 previously. My GMAT scores are standing out like a sore thumb.
I am very keen on Kellogg, Cornell, Columbia, LBS and Haas. Do you think I stand a chance? Do you think my weak GMAT performance can be compensated by professional experience?
