Hi Stacy,

It would be great if you could help me in evaluating my profile for a Part-Time MBA.

GMAT : 720 [Q50(90%), V37 (81%)] AWA : 4.5 ; IR : 7 (81%)
Undergrad GPA : 9.2/10 from Numer one ranked private school in India
Master's GPA : 4/4 from North Carolina State University
Major : Electrical Engineering
Work Experience : 7 years at a $1 billion company in semi-conductors.
Others :
Published 5 conference/journals in IEEE.
Filed 3 patents from work.
Initiated a non-profit for education during master's and worked for 2 years with it.

My essay writing skills are not something that I would boast of. I would put them in the average range.

My target is UCBerkely part-time MBA since that is where all the tech companies are, and I want to be involved in tech start-ups.
My other options are Emory in Atlanta, Mccombs in Austin.

It would be great if you can evaluate my profile.

Hi satluri,

Thanks for posting. You have a strong application. The biggest challenge you will have is differentiating yourself from a competitive candidate pool. I recommend you read this case study of an Indian engineer who was accepted into a top MBA program: https://www.stacyblackman.com/comprehens ... ies/case2/

If you'd like, we also provide free 30 minute phone consultations here: https://www.stacyblackman.com/contact/
