Hi,

Hi Shruti,

If you are planning to apply in R-1, September may be late for GMAT. Ideally, you should be spending August and September on your essays, recos etc, in case you are planning to apply to 4-5 schools, essay writing being the most time consuming process.

However, if you feel you can devote significant amount of time during these 2-3 months on your essays recos, resume in addition to focusing on retaking GMAT , you can still apply in R-1.

Good luck.

to complete the evaluation and to suggest programs, it'd be helpful to know more about your career....where do you work, what do you want to do post-MBA, etc.

right now, your stats put you into a top 30 - 40 program (if you're interested in a US school).

taking the GMAT in sept, is not too late technically speaking. but the challenge you'll face is that if you don't start your essays until after you've taken the GMAT, you will not have enough time to write your essays. if you only apply to 1 or 2 programs, perhaps this is feasible.

hope that's helpful,
