Hi,

Indian, Male

GMAT: 710 (Q49,V39) taken in 2011
GPA: 2.9/4.0 ( 73/100)

5.3years total experience. (as on Sept 2013)
Currently in Oracle Inc. with a focus on telecommunications industry.
Working as a Senior Consultant as a Technical Consultant, however I regularly work with CTO/CIO of clients in the Japan/Asia Pacific/Oceania region to advise them on their forward position in the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.
Extensive travel to Korea, N.America, Australia, Phillippenes, Malaisia.
I am not sure if this profile gets bucketed with the IT background. I do not go to different countries to do technical projects or work as project manager. The role can be correctly defined with the classical definition of a Consultant. I can differentiate through my essays but will my application get bucketed even before my essays are read. That clearly puts me at a disadvantage.

I graduated from India but have never worked in India. Non IIT.

POST MBA:
I intend to get back to Consulting but with a focus on a mix of Business and Technical Strategy Consulting. With a background in technology consulting, I feel this is where I should be post MBA.

Schools Targetted (Specifically Chosen due to their affinity to Consulting/Technology)
Primary Interest: INSEAD, Kellogg, Sloan, Booth,
Others: UC-Berkley, Tuck, LBS, HKUST, ISB, IMD, UCLA-Anderson

Of the Above schools, I need to choose 4 - 5. I have already submitted the ISB application but I consider it as a safe school.

I want to do 2-3 schools for R1 and 2 for R2.
