I recently took the test (1st attempt) and scored a modest 720 (Q50, V 37, AWA 5.0). I am primarily targeting the ISB program in Hyderabad.

I am a 29 year old male from India, with around 7 years of experience post my engineering (Civil Honors, a 5 year program from CEPT www.cept.ac.in). Out of the 7 years, 4 were spent with the prominent fortune 500 companies as a business analyst, and subsequently as a project manager.

Since last two year, I have been running a small consulting firm that provides services in the areas such as CDM, Green Buildings, Solid waste management, Infra projects, etc. I am also a certified LEED AP (BD+C) from US green building council.

I was the president of the student's council during my engineering, and also have been part of social activities while studying (Post earthquake damage assessment, school vulnerability assessment, lake rejuvenation programs, etc.). On the sports front, I have a general participation record with few certificates for chess and TT at school and college level.

My academic records are decent with a 85% in 12th (CBSE) and a 69% during graduation (top 5 rank during all semester and highest in internship and thesis semesters).

Please let me know your opinion whether I should proceed with the current profile and GMAT score, or improve them before applying.

Thanks & Best Regards
sourabh
