Hi there,

Fairly new to the forums, and was hoping one of the experts could give me some guidance based on my profile.

GMAT: 720 (Q: 48, V: 42), AWA 6.0

Undergraduate: Bachler of Commerce, Major in Marketing from McGill University with a 3.6 GPA - Dean's List

Competed in the USC Marshall Case Competition and member of McGill Case Team
Have worked for last 7 years as a volunteer working with an adolescent with autism
Member of company's United Way Executive Committee for 3 years

Work Experience: 41 months in sales and marketing for one of North America's largest energy companies (and Canada's largest) in their retail sector with experience in two major Canadian markets (Toronto and Vancouver). Held 4 positions in under 4 years ranging from supply chain management, retail product development, retail strategy and operations

Hi,

Thanks for your post. I think your profile can be competitive at the schools on your list. Academically you are in good shape with your solid GPA and GMAT score. Your professional experience to date at a top company is great. Your career trajectory combined with your various roles with certainly boost your profile. However, I think one of the most compelling aspects to your candidacy is your volunteer work. I hope you are able to incorporate your experience working with the youth with autism into your essays as this long term commitment is truly compelling and distinctive.
