Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your information with us! If you can score in the 730-750 range, that will open a lot of doors for you. Now, Kellogg is a stretch school for you at the moment, but given your pedigree, I think 1-2 stretch schools is warranted. However, to truly get a sense of your fit for certain programs, it'll help if you share some details about your short and long term goals. What type of role do you want to have upon graduation? What industry are looking to be in?

You have a lot of strong suits, but your UG GPA is a bit low (I'm assuming it's based on a 4.0 scale, is that correct?). Do you know your class rank or percentile rank? This will help assess where you fall from an academic standpoint. As you plan to apply later this year, it's critical for you to think about what you want your story to be. Do you feel you need help with your story framework and essay refinement? Let us know if you'd like to discuss your school selection and how we might be able to help you attend your target schools. Best of luck on your GMAT! We look forward to hearing back. In the meantime, check out our free resources here.

I was always interested on the business aspects of the oilfield industry, i took several business and economics electives in school but in 2014 my technical workload reduced drastically and i started to work with business related issues and realized that i should quit the technical side.

After the MBA, my goal is to work with business development for the energy business. I intend to work as a consultant first and them move to a big energy company.

My priority is to come back to Brazil, but i am also open to work abroad, mainly US or UK.
