Hi,

My profile is as follows

Bachelors in Law : 55%/100% (highest is in the range of 70 - 75%/100% in the university)
Post graduate management program: 2.9/4.33
Work Exp: 8+ Years (Banking & IT) Currently in Product Management @ India
Age:33 Years
GMAT: 610 ( I am retaking the test in jan first week, hoping to be around 650 atleast)

Wanted your views on the which schools would be ideal to apply for with the above stats.

Also my current role involves product management for a bank, i manage business loans & credit cards product. However my interest is to move in to the Supply Chain management but in the consulting side not on the execution side. How is the placement scene like for what I am looking at...

Finally what are the prospects of getting a Graduate Assistantship at schools where i fit the bill, what would be an ideal candidate profile and how many such positions are available.

Thanks a ton in advance

Prasad

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Given the years of professional experience you have to date, it makes sense for you to consider applying to part time or EMBA programs if you choose to apply to US schools. European schools tend to have a higher average in terms of years of experience so you should perhaps consider some European programs if you are interested in having a full time MBA experience.

In regard to your questions about Graduate Assistance opportunities. To my knowledge these aren't common in MBA programs. I would suggest you reach out to the schools of interest and ask them for information on these types of roles and if they even offer them.

Best,

Stacey
