Good morning. I hope this e-mail finds you well. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my current profile?
GMAT: 670
GPA: 3.0 (BA in economics (minor in sociology) from a top liberal arts college)
Work Experience: 4 years working for a global financial services company
Now that I am finished with my GMAT (seemingly) I am curious as to what type of schools you think I have a fighting chance gaining admittance to?
Thank you very much for all of you help. Keep up the good work.
Gabe

Obviously, MBA admission is based upon more than a few metrics. However, the applicant pool has become ultra-competitive lately and GMAT scores seem to be trending up. From a pure numbers standpoint, you would be competitive in the top 20 - 40 range. But there are many factors to consider ie. your professional history, your goals, international experience, and anything that makes you stand out as a unique and interesting candidate. If you can pull together a strong application with well written LORs and thoughtful essays then you might consider higher ranked programs as well.
