Why an MBA

I want to specialize in marketing to continue my career in a marketing related position. I can complement my sales skills with marketing skills via theoritical and practical knowledge which I will get from a good business school and improve my knowledge of finance, economics and organizational stragety to be fully equipped for future executive managerial positions.

Why in USA

I want to live in a culture which I can adopt easily without language barrier.
I want to work in US or abroad after my mba degree. Thus, I would like to receive a prestigious diploma (As you can easily realize employment rate is considerably important for my decision)

My Goals;

Getting brand management related position in a multinational company in US.

Thanks in advance

Eozen-

You have a desirable profile.
1- I would like to know how your Turkish GPA translates to American GPA.
2- Your your experience differentiates you and I would emphasize this component in my application.
3- Your extracurriculars are a bit weak. I would like to see you lead a group (President, Chair, etc). Is this possible. Also, since you are 29 I guess the VP position was a while ago? Can you add something in currently.
4- You answer Why an MBA. But, I ask you "Why now?"
5- You might add in Kellogg at Northwestern to the reach schools, and why not another reach or two as well? If the GPA is a strong GPA when translated, you could create a compelling story for a UCLA or other top 15 school. Also, have you considered Thunderbird given your international experience?

Best of luck!
