Hi,

Thanks for your post. I have a few concerns about your profile. In terms of academics, your GPA and GMAT are below average as compared to others with similar background and experience. I strongly suggest you consider retaking the GMAT with the goal of scoring 700+. While it's challenging to gain admission to the programs on your list with your GMAT score, it becomes even more difficult given your lack of employment since March of last year. Adcoms tend to have concerns about lack of employment for longer than 2-3 months. You will want to demonstrate that you have been using your free time wisely for the last year and a half - perhaps working at a nonprofit or other volunteer opportunities. Your lack of current employment will also cause the adcoms to perhaps scrutinize your GMAT score and essays a bit more than if you were currently employed. Be prepared to write solid essays highlighting your strengths to help outweigh the concerns that may arise from your job situation.

Regards,

Stacey
