Profile evaluation GMAT 620...help needed urgently...

Hi...I am an SAP consultant from IBM with close to 4 years of experience...I have a GMAT score of 620...quant 41 , verbal 34 and awa 6....

My work experience is related to technical consulting with clients all over the world ...mainly offshore work...so haven't travelled abroad....

I am interested in applying to

1. NUS Singapore
2. NTU Singapore
3. Kelley school of business
4. Fuqua school of business
5. Hec Paris
6. London business school

How realistic am I being in thinking of applying to these schools? Please suggest some more good colleges in US based on my score and profile?

Assistance will be very much appreciated....

Hello Rahul G R, thanks for your question.

Ultimately, your competitiveness will come down to the quality of your leadership experience in and out of work, but I think your GMAT is a potential obstacle. What are the mean or median GMAT scores at your target programs? I think 620 is below those averages, but the question is how far below?

In targeting suitable schools, a good place to start would be to compile a list of programs that have a mean or median GMAT score close to yours. You should be competitive here. My rule of thumb is that if your GMAT score falls within the middle 80% range at a school, you have a shot. Otherwise, it could be an uphill battle.
