Professional Background:

Experience: 3 years (as of August-2012)
1) Senior Consultant 2010 - present: TOC Supply Chain and Strategy consultant
Experience with leading business houses in India- TATA, BAJAJ and Kirloskar.

Leading the implementation of TOC philosophy in an Engine Manufacturing company with a goal of doubling the profits in 2 years. (company sales: 800 million USD). (sept 12 - present)

Lead of the project in Supply side for consumer goods company in India.Identified the supply chain as a strategic lever to bring change in working of company in all departments. Implemented the change in procurement strategies of supply chain team of three Business units (combined sale of 400 million USD). Got the availability of each sku-location combination to more than 95% from 60% thereby reducing the working capital of partners to increase sales by expanding range and reach in the market. Inventory of Domestic suppliers decreased from 60 days of sale to 38 days of sale (April 2011-Aug. 2012)

Implemented TOC manufacturing solution at India's largest Radiator Manufacturing company. Educated the team to bring the change from manufacturing to Stock to Mnafacturing for availability. Changed the way production planning and procurement was done to reduce the losses and align the manufacturing to market demand. Increased service levels for customers and achieved reduction in lead times leading to inventory reduction (company sales: 100 Million USD) (Nov 10 - July 11)

2) March 2010 - Sep 2010: External Consultant for Quality, Volvo Powertrain Sweden
Lead the project to reduce losses at bottleneck in production employing advanced kaizen technique (design of experiments). co-rdinated with Engineers,line supervisors and workers (swedish speaking) to improve the process and reduce losses. Projected savings were around 1 million SEKs.

3) July 2007 - April 2008: Associate Analyst, Deloitte Consulting
Analysed business requirements to convert into technical requirements and developed the program me in Middleware software (IBM, BEA Weblogic). the project involved financial processes transformation for a fortune 20 firm in health care Industry and leading telecom company in Canada.


Extra-Curricular Activities:

NGO - Working with an organisation to educate children of poor construction workers. These children are deprived of education as their parents (uneducated and poor) can't afford to provide stability nor funds to send them to a regular school.

Social Secretary of undergrad Hostel(dorm) - Help freshers to adjust to the new surroundings and organize activities to build a team to perform in Inter hostel tournaments. (2nd position in that year). Organize social activities like campus cleaning etc to keep the environment green.

Coordinator of External Publicity - Give talks in different universities about technical festival organized by IIT Madras to generate participation. Received record number of participants that year in our technical festival

Member of General Secretary council at university - Head of eateries committee to negotiate the deals with win-win for both the vendor and students

Coordinator for Ticket sales: Increase ticket sales for the cultural events, study the market and identify the points to sell tickets to make the even profitable.
