Nationality- Indian
Academics

B.Tech - IIT Kanpur( 8.1/10, top three in the department)
Got academic excellence awards at IIT K.

Work Experience

9 months - Real estate developer
3 years plus by Sept,10 - Analyst at a US based Real Estate Private Equity firm. Have worked across all facets from aquisitions to asset management.

GMAT - 770 ( Quant 50, Verbal 45)
Professional Certifications -CFA Level 2 pass

Recommendations - Strong ( one from the Managing Director, other from an Associate)

Extra Curricular - Not much, participated in few college festivals

Goal-to work in Private Equity post MBA

Dear Sandy,

I think you have a shot at your target school list. What will determine the decision will be how well you put your overall application package together. Be sure to highlight your managerial skills and make a compelling case for admission. Your professional experience should also be an asset for you in distinguishing yourself from the competition.
