I applied for the Fall 2011 NYU PT program on April 4th. I haven't heard anything.

I need an honest opinion on my profile:

32yrs old/female
3.8 GPA undergrad at a small liberal arts school (regional)
580 GMAT
Certified Public Accountant
Excellent Recommendations (currently a direct report to a very senior leader)
Steady pay increases (currently $135K)
10 years work experience - Big 4, Amex, Fed Reserve
Strong essays, NP board service

The point is...I know I have a really strong profile except for a low GMAT. Do you think I can get in?

Dear Mood Indigo,

I do think it is possible, but it all depends on how strong your entire application package is. Your essays and recommendations are critical in the process. If you submitted a complete application on April 4, and still have not heard anything (not an interview invite or any update in the online app system), then I would contact the admissions office to make sure your application is complete and received.

Good luck,
Lisa
