Indian software engineer with 9+ years of experience: currently at google (4+ years), previously at microsoft (5 years).

Age: 33.

Gmat score: 700 gmat, 48 Q and 36 V (IR 6 and awaiting AWA score).

Education:
B.Tech computer science from india (GPA 3.7)
M.S. Computer science (GPA 3.87).

Career:
Worked mostly on infrastructure and data analytics. As part of job, worked with multiple teams across different sites, gave presentations, workshops.

Extra curricular activities:
Participant at local meditation center,
Facilitator at google for leadership and teamwork class,
Toast masters bronze level recipient,
Took community college on acting and participated in plays.
Won district level prizes for toast masters on humorous speech contests.
Organized volunteering at google for kids.

MBA goal: Work on non profit or social enterprenuership specialization. Take a job that will be around the same.

schools targeted (Fall 2015):
Yale, University of Texas Austin, Duke university and berkeley. Please suggest any others (within top 20).

Please let me know if this sounds okay for the schools targeted.

You have solid profile with strong work experience, GMAT and academics. For social entrepreneurship you can target schools as listed below -

Kellogg - Moderate
Ross - moderate
Stanford - Highly ambitious
Harvard - Highly ambitious
NYU Stern - Moderate
Columbia - Moderate

Sgutala,

Will add two things.

1. You've worked with companies with impressive brand names, and have had stable tenures. But, a lot depends on your progression and responsibilities undertaken in these years. Showcase them

2. One downside that I see is your age. You are clearly off by 5-6 years from the age that B-schools typically look at. So, address this part well. Explain, if there is scope, why you want to pursue an MBA at this stage of your career
