There seems to be a problem with the pop-up quizzes. I've tried on two different articles now where a box pops up, but is stuck in "thinking" mode and no question ever comes up. I've tried refreshing the page as David suggested, but still not getting any results.

Maybe the count-down timer shouldn't start until the question actually pops up, I have now missed out on 20 points because my time ran out before I ever got a chance to answer the question.

Here is one of the URL's it happened to: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2010/10/ ... and-angles

I've noticed that this has happened to others, as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry about the problem you've been experiencing. Can you please let me know what browser and operating system you're using? That'll help me debug the issue.

IE 6.0, which is through my work computer. I don't have any problems with any of the other pop-ups, just the quizzes.

oh, thanks for letting me know. ie 6 is probably the cause of the problems that you're experiencing. would it be possible for you to try to use chrome? chrome is a much better browser and will likely fix the problems for you.

fyi, we don't actually support ie 6 in our development work any more because only about 5% of our users use ie 6 and that browser requires extra testing/coding. i'm pretty much the only one who develops everything for btg. so there are features that might turn out buggy for ie6.

Thanks, David!! I do also use Chrome, I will remember to use it when I am browsing the BTG website.

Great! Can you please let me know if that fixes your problem? I'd greatly appreciate the feedback so that we can understand if IE6 is the cause of this problem.

Well, I can't say whether IE6 is the problem or not because, like I said before, other pop-ups came up just fine, but I did use Chrome today and had a pop-up quiz that came up with no problem. Thanks David!!
