Which of the following fractions is greater than 1/4?

A. 12/50
B. 3/11
C. 2/9
D. 4/17
E. 6/24

Just make the numerator 1 in each option and see which denom.is less than 4
option A ;one over 4 point something so less than 1/4
option B: one over 3 point something hence greater than 1/4
Hence option B is correct
