Mass of 1 cubic meter of a substance is 800 kilograms. what is the volume, in cubic centimeters, of 1 gram of this substance? (1 kilogram = 1000 grams, 1 cubic meter = 1,000,000 cubic centimeters)

Ans: 1.25....Pls guide me to understand the approach towards the answer.

1cubic meter = 10^6 cubic centimeter

800Kg = 8* 10^5 gram

thus we get

10^6/ 8*10^5

=10/8=1.25

hope this helps

cheers !!
