"Is x/5 an integer?" translates to "Is x a multiple of 5?"
Statement (1) tells us that x is a multiple of a multiple of 5. Therefore, x is a multiple of 5. SUFFICIENT
Statement (2) doesn't give us enough. x might be a mutiple of 5, but it might not. For example, x=336 is not a multiple of 5, but x=336*5 is a multiple of 5. INSUFFICIENT

if x is a factor of y and y is a factor of z then x is a factor of z
from stem 1 >> if 5 is a factor of 12345 and 12345 is a factor of x, then 5 is a factor of x so sufficient
from stem 2>> 336 is factor of x and 5 is not a factor of 336 so x/5 will not be an integer ....sufficient
