Hi,

(According to me),
There are 3 categories
1.Married - 156
2.Self Employed - 70
3.Married & Self Employed is 25% of married = 25% of 156 = 39

So, no. of only Self Employed = 70-39 = 31

Hence, Ans: Prob = 31/248 = 1/8

1/8 is the right answer. I wasn't thinking right or say...was thinking too much...god, pls help me..i have only 4 days to go!!

Total people=248
married=156
selfemployed=70

25% of people are married and self employed which is

248*.25=39

So people who are not married but selfemployed is 70-39=31

Probability of people who are self employed but not married is 31/248 which is 1/8.
