#### Priniting mistake (?) in OG11 SC 81

Tue Apr 24, 2007 6:01 pm
I tried this problem and thought the sentence is incomplete.
I got the answer wrong and obviously I checked the explanation.

By the explanation I concluded that there must be some mistake in question. a printing error.

Is it just me or all of you have the same copy of OG 11?:

Just have a look at SC 81"

In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines have been priced to sell, and they are (sell).
This is the original sentence:

I think sell should be added at the last part of the sentence to make sense.[/b]

Well, the question makes sense to me and the explanation makes
ever better sense .

The explanation clearly says "the second verb does not need to repeat
the word sell because it is understood from the first use". So, the
sentence need not end in "sell"
