Princton test

Hi, Can any one throw some light on Princton test and it's scoring. I had 8 wrong in math and there was no question wrong in first 10 still my math score was 44 and I had three question wrong in verbal first 15 and overall 12 wrong but still my score was 29.

Can some one share their experience with Princton tests?

Hi hmboy17: Your Princeton Review practice test scores do make sense--since you did so well in the first 10 on Math, and pretty well over the rest of the secion, you wound up with a very good Math score of 44 (about 11 points above average). On Verbal, depending on which 3 of the first 15 you missed, 29 sounds about right (about 2 points above average).

The trend on the real GMAT is that the questions are getting tougher, but you can miss more of them and still get a very high score. The first 10 questions are the most heavily weighted on each section, though #s 11-30 are very important as well.

I hope this explanation helps. Good job with the 44-29 (about 610) on your practice test, keep at it, and good luck on your GMAT!
