Princeton Review CATs

by chillgmat » Wed Aug 05, 2009 10:33 am
Hello People:

I recently gave Princeton CATs. Following is my understanding. Can you Guys please confirm whether it is correct or I have to put more effort in my preparation

1) The Maths section is too easy and not representative of GMAT
2) The quality of question in verbal is also not good. In CRs as well in RCs, you narrow down to two choices but it is hard to decide between them as there are instances of both the choices in the passage
3) They try to mark you very strictly.

So if you are getting say 680 in Princeton CATs, how much should I expect in actual GMAT. I do not want to have GmatPrep now, I want to save it for later.

Can you please share your experiences.

Thanks

bump.. just wondering the same..

I took a very rushed princeton review CAT (my first one ever) and got a 640.. (should have gotten higher.. but you know coulda woulda shoulda..)

Wondering if that is higher or lower than what I would expect on the GMAT since I hear the princeton review tests are easier.
