In the figure above, what is the area of triangle ABC?

(1) AB = 5
(2) x = 90

a 3,4,5 is a Pythagorean triplet 25 = 16 + 9. hence 1/2 * 3*4.

b x=90 means 1/2 * 3* 4 = area.

hence D it is.
