to me from the question stem, looks like answer is e

i) 2+p is a prime number, could be 3+2, 5+2, 11+2 which all make P to be prime, but 9+2 and 15+2, but P is not prime, hence I is not sufficient.

ii) P could be 15 still not sufficient.
