how do you know when you should use a Prime Box vs. a Venn Diagram?
My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

YOu only use the Venn diagrams when you are attempting to figure out LCM or GCF. If you are dealing with divisibility then use the prime box.

I don't even use the Venn diagram though. With LCM and GCF...I find the methods in one of the advanced chapters more universal (ie: large numbers, numbers with variables, etc)

prime box or Venn for two categories
use Venn for>2 categories
for < two
use the with which u can frame a eqn easily

osirus0830 I haven't gotten that far yet... but as long as I can hone in on these skills now.. i'll be able to understand the advanced skills later ;-)
