Here's a little about me! I am 29 years old with a BS in Business Education. I have desired a Masters in Accountancy. However, I have a family; therefore, I had to put my education on the back burner for a while. My 3 daughters are school age and I am now ready to get complete my education/career goals. My background consist of customer service, mortgage origination, and banking. Due to a huge hit in the mortgage industry, I had to settle for a job with security as a Disability Examiner. I have plans to attend NC State University by Fall 2011.

I have scheduled my exam for October 7, 2010. I get high anxiety when it comes to test taking. Therefore, I am looking for all sorts of advise and strategies to help me achieve a 700 on the first test. I took my first practice 3 nights ago, using the Manhattan CAT. I received a score of 500, (Q39, V21). Obviously, my biggest struggle well be the verbal section. I performed horribly in sentence correction and reading comprehension. I have high hopes that with the wealth of knowledge available here and my dedication to studying, I will reach my goals.

Currently, I am utilizing the following tools for my studies: the Manhattan GMAT series (with the exception of the critical reasoning book), OG 11th, Verbal Review, Quantitative Review, Kaplan Premier 2008-2009, and PowerScore Critical Reasoning.
