Preperation - around 3 weeks time to go

by gdehsoph35 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 5:13 am
Hi everybody, I am really delighted after reading through the forum. I only have a single word in my mind, informative.

I am a final year undergrad student from Hong Kong, China.
I am going to write my GMAT on 4th Feb.

After reading various topics here, I want to consult all experts here about my prep strategy.

Prep materials: OG 11 (did some questions on math and verbal), PR 2008 (finished except AWA), Kaplan 2008 premier (not yet touched), MGMAT SC(same as Kaplan)
First preptest: PR Online CAT 490 ... :(
Next prep CAT: probably someday next week

Goal: > 679
Weaknesses  : Math (careless...isn't it fatal) Verbal (RC/CR: esp. inference)

Current Plan:
This week: Read MGMAT SC and Kaplan for RC and CR and do some OG verbal questions
Next week: Do some OG questions and at least 2 CATs
The week after next week: Do some more OG Qs and at least 2 CATs
The last few days: Review those questions wrong and one more CAT

How do you guys feel? I really look forward hearing your comments!

P.S. To MGMAT: Its really hard to find your material here in Hong Kong

Studied for 10 days and got a 680 42Q/41V I just used the OG book and took the PR, kaplan, and MGMAT practice tests to get used to the timing. Good luck, you'll be fine.
