prep course and strategy to take the GMAT for health patient

Hi Guys,
First of all let me thank everyone for posting such interesting topics, it was really a nice escape during my chemo treatment. I took the GMAT recently and yes I was still on the drugs when I took it, just wanted to do it to prove to myself I wasn't brain dead. Got a 590. Now want to take it again and get around 650ish. I have these choices for prep-courses:

1. Veritas - new haven, ct
2. Kaplan
3.PR

I know Kaplan hasn't been reviewed well so I will stay away from it. Money is short and my health is just getting back to atleast some what normal. I want to make sure I do well. So any advice on the courses will help. I went through OG, PR and Kaplan the last time I took it.

Prep courses

Hi Maverickx8,
Are you already signed up for that Veritas prep course? You could take Manhattan GMAT's virtual online prep course, if you haven't already signed up with Veritas? If you have a PC and an internet connection, you can sit in your living room or wherever, to take part in the Manhattan GMAT class. It is just as if I was taking a real, in person class when I took it because there were two instructors teaching the class. I would highly recommend that course. Take a look at manhattangmat.com about when that class is offered. It is a 9 week course, too.

By the way, the Manhattan GMAT course provides you with a well developed, structured study plan as well. I think that it offers the right kind of mix of their own strategies and practice materials that lead you to be able to handle most every problem in the OG.
